SPD Well Project Management delivers high quality well engineering services to the global upstream well engineering industry. SPDs main areas of expertise are well project management, well engineering optimisation, well engineering studies and consultancy services. SPD operates in over 20 countries worldwide with an extensive client list including the majority of major international operators.

With an increasing amount of the company's turnover coming from their consultancy services, SPD required a solution to advertising and fulfilling oil and gas job vacancies via their comprehensive website.

Energo implemented a Content Management System (CMS) which allows authorised SPD staff to log into their website and add job details directly to the website using only their standard desktop web browser.

For ease of use, SPD can simply "copy and paste" the Job Requirement brief from existing Microsoft Word documents on their PCs into the online CMS. This method of input preserves all text formatting (bold, underline etc.) so that what is typed in Word appears exactly the same way on their website.

Potential candidates can review the available positions and apply online for the vacancy directly from their website (see this in action.)

Job applications and CVs/resumes are received at SPD's office by email, complete with the applicable internal reference number for ease of tracking.

Upon fulfillment of a particular vacancy, SPD simply log into the system to remove the listing.

This time and cost-saving content management system was added to SPD's existing website (also designed, developed and hosted by Energo.)
